The 3D-Print Pavilion project (3*3*3m) has been designed as a demonstrator: it displays elements meant to be built with the different fabrication techniques XtreeE developed. The first wall is designed to be 3D-printed on the ground and then lifted up, whereas the second wall is meant to be 3d-printed directly in vertical position, and presents a structure similar to XtreeE’s first sin curve wall. The third vertical element, a space truss similar to the prototype built earlier by XtreeE, is obtained by pouring concrete in a 3D-printed clay mold. Finally, the central element, a tree-like post, is meant to be made partly of 3D-printed concrete and partly of poured concrete.
